Departure from our agency, in Downtown San Pedro de Atacama.

We drive around 10 minutes away from the city, where light pollution is reduced next to zero.

We start with a talk, in which the tour coordinator tells us different aspects related to astronomy. In parallel, a cocktail is offered, consisting of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, sweet and savory snacks, coffee and tea.

Later, high-tech telescopes (16 inches) are directed to points of the sky relevant on that night. Tourists are able to observe constellations, stars, planets, and nebulae, among others.

We finish with an entertaining photo shoot.
